The Church

Our Village Hall becomes our Church building in Grantshouse on every alternate Sunday, sharing with the village of Reston.

We also have united services for all the Group including Burnmouth, Reston, and Ayton Church; not only the oldest in the Group of Churches, but the largest!

When our Church at Houndwood closed, many were very sad and may have doubted that our Village Hall would ever feel quite right as a Church.

However, as we all know its not the building but the people who are 'The Church'!

Anyone visiting Grantshouse on a Sunday will find a warm welcome in a warm building with comfortable seats, so why not join us?

Sandra Fleming, comes from Chirnside to play the organ for us at the services in Grantshouse.

The organ came from our Church at Houndwood as did the small brass lectern and Hymn Board.

A beautifully made wooden lectern was kindly donated anonymously to Grantshouse, when we moved from the Church at Houndwood

The Rev. Donald Gaddes (retired) welcomed everyone as the congregation gathered for a service on an Autumn morning at Grantshouse
