The Clubs

Welcome to the Walkers Club!

We meet at the Village Hall at 1.00pm on every second Tuesday during the 'sunny' months of the year!

Everyone is welcome to join us for our countryside walks in very good company!

Its a great way to keep fit as we enjoy a variety of leisurely strolls through the farmlands and woodlands that surround the village of Grantshouse. While noticing the flowers and wildlife, we also have plenty of time for a blether with friends along the way!

April - Grantshouse to Houndwood via Renton and Greenlaw.
18th May -  A guided tour around  Brockholes with John Prentice
1st June - Dunglass instead of Edin's Hall Broch due to weather!
14th June - Area undecided and depending on the weather
28th June -     "         "          "         "        "    "       "

Contact Margaret Fleming for more details - Tel: 01361-850208

Edin's Hall Broch - Postponed on the 1st June,  as one of the few Iron Age Brochs (a fort and settlement) found in lowland Scotland, this is a walk not to be missed and the Walkers Club will be going there when the weather suits!

The Walkers Club kindly pose for a pic' at the Village Hall and then...

set off for Brockholes!
