The Grantshouse Harvest Supper Dance 2009
With the beautiful floral arrangements from Stephanie decorating the tables and lit by candlelight, all was set for a super Harvest Supper Dance in the village Hall on Friday 2nd October.

The guests were welcomed with a refreshing glass of bucks-fizz and invited to buy a few raffle tickets for a chance to win one of the many prizes so generously donated.

With wines provided everyone settled down to enjoy a very varied three-course supper menu before the dancing commenced.

The was plenty of time for a 'blether' before and during the meal, accompanied by the softly played background music by Graham and Steve from Jetstream's Disco.

Soon after the supper was cleared away everyone started dancing, with just a break at 11.00pm to draw the raffle.

My apologies, as he video is rather dark but the music and disco lighting will give you an indication of the very good time that was had by all who attended!

Many thanks to everyone who bought the tickets; Angie who prepared the food; Phillip and Stephanie who helped set up and decorate the tables; Everyone who helped clear the tables and Bobby who helped with the washing up before going home.

Also a special 'thank you' to Ange who got up early on Saturday morning and helped us to clear and clean the Village Hall and set it up for Church on Sunday!
