Welcome to Renton Home Farm - Shearing!
Renton Home farm > Renton Home Farm - Lambing > Renton Home Farm - Shearing
It's June 2003 and time for clipping the sheep at Renton Home Farm.
On a summer's day it's a little too warm to be outside 'wearing wool' so the sheep wait patiently for their turn at the mobile barber's shop!

For one or two it may be a new experience but they are reassured by their friends who've seen it all before and already had a hair-cut!

Waiting their turn on the high ramp above the clipping table,

What will happen next?

They soon find out they can relax...

...and even get the chance to lie down

but...someone has to 'wind the fleece'

Usually it's Ian!

But when it's all over there's always a treat for those who've been good!
