The Farms
Welcome to Springhill Farm!

Johnny and Margie Robinson farm about eighty-five acres on Coldingham Moor (A1107) at Springhill Farm just a few miles outside Grantshouse, close to the east coast.

Johnny keeps two hundred Scottish Blackface and Texel ewes and hogs and Margie has a small mixed flock of about sixty Shetlands, Jacobs, Black Welsh Mountain and Icelandic cross ewes and a Champion Shetland ram.

Very well known in the sheep dog world, Johnny has bred and trained an established line of excellent working sheepdogs for over thirty years!

He is an enthusiastic but modest competitor in Sheepdog Trials, both at National and International level, and a very experienced judge and trainer.

Johnny is always always willing to share his knowledge and give advice to anyone interested in working collies and their remarkable abilities.

Puppies carefully bred and reared are sometimes available for sale.

So if you have a query concerning anything to do with Border Collies have a chat with Johnny!

His wife, Margie, has her own sheep flock and provides fleece and yarn for knitters and spinners

Margie has her own craft and design studio, Moondance Wools at Springhill Farm to check it out on her web site - Click here!
